Bertie the Butterfly

We have a new face in LC 10, his name is Bertie the Butterfly.  He is here to help us understand "What makes a GREAT butterfly garden."  He also has a few friends we might get to meet along the way.

Bertie tells us that he is a part of a special group of animals called pollinators.  What do you think Bertie does to be a pollinator and how is he important for our gardens? Do you know any other animals that are pollinators?

Our buddy class

LC 4 popped in to show us their pin ball box machines they made at technology. We loved using their stick to flick the ball and watching it as it through the maze of obstacles.
Our big buddies helped us keep score.  Brooklyn got 150 points!

Dinosaur Inquiry

Over the past weeks the KIWI team have been learning about dinosaurs.  We have discovered this site that helped us learn if dinosaurs were herbivores or carnivores (or our new names we came up with meat o saurus and plant o saurus).  Come and play Dinosaur appetite
